Teenyboppers by Kitchen Dancing - new classes from 21st April!

Brought to you by Steph from Kitchen Dancing, this interactive, music-based class has been developed especially for preschoolers (1 year old walkers to 4 year olds) and their grownups. Children will get active through music and movement with songs, games, props, instruments, a variety of musical styles and disco lights!

 

Where and When

Classes will take place at the Beeston Youth and Community Centre, West End, Beeston on Wednesday at 11.00-11.45am and Thursday 10-10.45am. The cost is £5 per child (£2.50 for additional siblings). If you would like to reserve a place, please contact Steph on 0797 4964360.

Baby Boogie by Kitchen Dancing - NEW ZOOM CLASS

Brought to you from Be Motivated Coaching in association with Kitchen Dancing, this low to medium impact class provides a fun and friendly boogie for grown-ups and babies in their slings/carriers. Combining strength-based exercise moves to feel good tunes led by Louisa (and her baby), a fully trained pre and post natal fitness professional.

 

Where and When

Classes will take place on Zoom every Monday from 4-4.30pm. Free taster class on Monday 29th March. The cost is £4 per household.

SUMMER Family Boogie by Kitchen Dancing Juniors 

A super fun, dance class especially for the summer holidays for children 5+years and parents/carers welcome. Lots of fun class themes coming up! Dance highlights will include the actual pop video routine to Dua Lipa's 'Levitating', a group TikTok dance to 'Blinding Lights' and a whole host of well-known party dances including the Macarena, the Limbo plus my own fun creations. Includes refreshment break with drink and snack. There will also be some additional fun with dance and music themed games.

 

Where and When

Classes will take place at the Beeston Youth and Community Centre, West End, Beeston on Wednesday at 10.45-11.45am. The cost is £6 per child (£3 for additional siblings).

The important part – Health, Safety and licenses

Each session is covered by public liability insurance to the value of £5,000,000 and the music aspect with a PRS for Music licence. Jo is a qualified Group Fitness Instructor and hold a Level 2 Certificate in Fitness Instruction. I also have a current Emergency First Aid qualification and enhanced DBS certificate. A completed Physical Activity Readiness questionnaire will be required prior to the first class (Family Boogie only). Please note flashing disco lights will be in use throughout the class.

 

What to wear

Please wear comfortable clothing to dance in and trainers/plimsolls or jazz shoes if you own a pair. Add a splash of neon to feel fully in the disco vibe. Bottled water is available for purchase.
