Kitchen Dancing - 80s & 90s - Adults
These sessions for adults provide fun, dance-based fitness routines to lively 80s and 90s music. Every week the music is different and look out for themed sessions including Movie theme night or Pop Queens vs. Rock Gods! Classes take place in a disco setting and the music playing loud. Just dance like no one is watching, because no one actually is! All levels welcome, low to high impact options available.

Every Wednesday at Beeston Methodist Church, Chilwell Road, Beeston, NG9 1EH from 8-8.45 pm (max. 15 places per class, advance booking essential). £5 pay as you go or £4.50 with monthly class pass (plus 15p ticketing fee). 11th class is free. Free car parking available.
Kitchen Dancing – Soul, Disco & Pop - Adults
These sessions for adults provide fun, dance-based fitness routines but provides a lower impact option. During these classes we visit the memorable music decades of the 60s, 70s and 80s from Tamla Motown to Disco to 80s Electro Pop. Classes take place in a disco setting with the music playing out so you can truly lose yourself in the music whilst keeping active! All levels welcome, low to high impact options available.

Every Wednesday at the Dance Studio in The Pearson Centre, 2 Nuart Rd, Beeston, Nottingham NG9 2NH from 9.40-10.20 am and 10.30-11.10am (max. 6 places per class, advance booking essential). £5 pay as you go or £4.50 with monthly class pass (plus 15p ticketing fee). 11th class is free. Kitchen Dancing – Feelgood Fridays - Adults
This monthly fun, feel-good dance-fitness class is guaranteed to kickstart your weekend! Packed with disco floor-filler classics you are sure to lose yourself in the music and in the retro disco setting! Dance along to 60s soul and motown, 70s disco, 80s pop kings and queens, 90s club classics, rock gods and goddesses, classic hip hop, indie, dance crazes right through to now. All levels welcome, low impact options available, and no previous dance experience necessary.

The important part – Health, Safety and licenses
Each session is covered by public liability insurance to the value of £5,000,000 and the music aspect with a PRS for Music licence. I am a qualified Group Fitness Instructor and hold a Level 2 Certificate in Fitness Instruction. I also have a current Emergency First Aid qualification and enhanced DBS certificate. A completed Physical Activity Readiness questionnaire will be required prior to the first class. Please note flashing disco lights will be in use throughout the class.
What to wear
Please wear comfortable clothing to dance in and trainers/plimsolls or jazz shoes if you own a pair. Bottled water is available for purchase.
Please also bring a mask to wear prior to class and arrive 5 minutes prior to the class start time.
