Kitchen Dancing Parties

Class information

We offer a range of weekly Adult and Family Kitchen Dancing classes both online and in person. All are fun, friendly and fitness focused but differ slightly according to the participants.

The important part – Health, Safety and licenses

In person sessions - Each session is covered by public liability insurance to the value of £5,000,000 and the music aspect with a PRS for Music licence. We request that all class participants complete a Physical Activity Readiness Questionnaire prior to taking part in a class.

Online sessions - Due to the nature of online sessions, we are unable to accept any liability whilst exercising from home. Please rest assured that classes are planned to ensure a balanced range of movement for all parts of the body and high intensity, repetitive exercise is kept to a minimum in order to avoid strain and injury. Please ensure you have plenty of space and are fit and well at the time of taking part in a class.

Jo who run the adult classes is a qualified Group Fitness Instructor and holds a Level 2 Certificate in Fitness Instruction. I also have a current Emergency First Aid qualification and enhanced DBS certificate. A completed Physical Activity Readiness questionnaire will be required prior to the first class. Please note flashing disco lights will be in use throughout the class.

What to wear

Please wear comfortable clothing to dance in and trainers/plimsolls or jazz shoes if you own a pair. Bottled water is available for purchase at in person classes.

As featured in Waitrose & Partners Weekend Magazine & Beestonian Magazine and on BBC Radio Derby and Nottingham and BBC East Midlands!
